Troop 713 is a Muslim troop sponsored by Muslim American Society (MAS) Houston and other Muslim organizations in Southeast Houston.
 
It was formed in 2007, today Troop 713 has expanded to about 250 scouts in all levels. It provides a wonderful opportunity to empower boys personality and strengthen their characters through scouting activities. Troop 713 gives the oppertunity to muslim boys to merge in and serve their American soceity by participating in differnt activities, and competetions.

Who is Able to Join?

Boys Ages 5-18, in grades KG – 12th grade based on group availability.

Attend the Opening Ceremony at MCC to register.
 
For more information on curriculum, adult trainings, council based activities, and Boy Scout Shops visit SAM Houston Area Council

Achievements

  • More than 10 Eagle Scouts

Volunteerism

Bot Scouts run off of dedicated parents who participate, contribute, and help with the activities . Parents are expected to do whatever they can to support in their child’s troop.

Parents are encouraged to volunteer as leaders and co-leaders. Leadership training is done through the council.
