Over 50 volunteers gathered at MCC today to prep and cook more than 150 meals! The days’ menu featured fettuccine alfredo with BBQ chicken – everything smelt and looked delicious, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that we all wanted to dig in ourselves 🙂
After cleaning up, we loaded up The Hunger Truck and headed downtown. We spent the next couple of hours serving Houstonians experiencing homelessness, learning new names, and making friends along the way. This is the start of something big, y’all!

1. We will be catering dinner to be distributed at 5th Ward Islamic Center on Saturday, October 23rd.
2. Our next cooking date will be Saturday, October 30th where we will need your help to prepare, cook, and distribute.
