1. Our Mission & Services

MCC provides cultural, educational, and charitable services intended to support and celebrate our diverse community. These services are provided “as-is.” We reserve the right to update or cancel programs (such as workshops, food drives, or cultural festivals) based on community needs or safety requirements.

2. Volunteer Participation & Liability

Volunteers are essential to the Multicultural Center’s impact. By volunteering:

  • Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that certain activities (e.g., event setup, outreach, or physical labor) may involve inherent risks. You assume all risks associated with your participation.

  • Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release MCC, its board, and its staff from any liability for personal injury or property damage sustained while performing volunteer duties.

3. Media & Photo Release

MCC documents our community work to share our progress with supporters and the public.

  • Consent: By attending MCC events or programs, you grant the Multicultural Center the right to use your image, voice, or likeness in promotional materials (including social media, our website, and newsletters).

  • Opt-Out: If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify an event coordinator on-site or contact us in writing.

4. Charitable Donations

  • Finality: Contributions made to the Multicultural Center are generally non-refundable and are used to support our non-profit mission.

  • Tax Status: While MCC is a non-profit organization, please consult a tax professional regarding the deductibility of your specific contributions.

5. Communication & SMS Alerts

By opting into our digital alerts:

  • Usage: You will receive updates on community news, upcoming programs, and urgent alerts.

  • Control: Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe at any time. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

6. Code of Conduct

All users and visitors must act in accordance with our values of respect and inclusion. Harassment, discrimination, or any activity that disrupts the peace of the center or its digital platforms will result in immediate termination of access.
